In the field of common building materials, there are various requirements of stone and gravel in the concrete configuration. For concrete of strength C30 and above, the needle-like particles shall be not more than 15%, and its solidity (weight loss after 5 cycles of immersion in saturated sodium sulfate solution) shall be not more than 5% and its strength(crushing index) not more than 10%. For concrete C30-C60, frost-resistant and impermeable concrete, needle-like particles shall be not more than 20%, its solidity(weight loss after 5 cycles of immersion in saturated sodium sulfate solution) shall not more than 8%, and its its strength(crushing index) not more than 20%. For concrete of strength lower than C30, the needle-like particles shall be not more than 25%, its solidity((weight loss after 5 cycles of immersion in saturated sodium sulfate solution) shall be not more than 12% and its strength(crushing index) shall be not more than 30%.
